Tornado watches and warnings have been issued in parts of Illinois, including the Chicago area, as strong storms move through.
A tornado warning for central DuPage County has been issued due to a thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado over Warrenville and Naperville. At the moment, the storm is moving north at 35 miles per hour.
A Tornado Watch has also been issued for parts of southeastern Illinois and Northwest Indiana. The watch, which covers Newton and Jasper counties in Indiana, will expire at 3 p.m. CST, according to the National Weather Service.
